Where can I purchase tickets for the Street Parties?

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and are limited to 4 per account. The best way of being assured a spot at the Street Party is to purchase tickets in advance.

How much does a Street Party ticket cost?

Tickets are $10 each, with $5 from each ticket donated to United Way Winnipeg to be reinvested in our community through agencies whose work is centred around supporting those in our city experiencing homelessness, addictions and mental health challenges.

If I have a ticket to the game, can I still get into the Street Parties?

Yes. A ticket to the game at Canada Life Centre will also provide access to the Street Party. The Street Party will only be accessible through the Street Party entrances on Donald Street south of the Graham Avenue intersection, on Graham west of Donald, or at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church parking lot on Smith Street. Once inside Canada Life Centre, fans will be unable to re-enter the Street Party.

Is there a maximum capacity for the Street Parties?

Street Party capacity is 5,000 people.

Do children under 2 require a ticket?

No, children under 2 years of age do not require a ticket to enter the Street Party.

How long are the Street Parties open?

The gates open 2 hours before the advertised game starts. Programming continues for 30 minutes post-game. Food and beverage sales will align with closures in Canada Life Centre (timing will fluctuate).

Where are the Street Parties taking place?

The Whiteout Street Parties are being held on Donald Street between Portage Avenue and Graham Avenue, directly adjacent to Canada Life Centre. Check out the Locations section to view a map.

Where can I enter the Street Parties?

Entrances to the Whiteout Street Parties will be on Donald Street south of the Graham Avenue intersection, on Graham west of Donald, and at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church parking lot on Smith Street. An accessible entrance is available at Portage Avenue and Donald Street – view map.

How do I use my mobile ticket?

For expedited entry into the Street Party, we recommend presenting your digital ticket with a barcode to scan. DO NOT LOAD YOUR STREET PARTY TICKET INTO THE WALLET OF YOUR MOBILE DEVICE FOR THIS EVENT. 

What is entry protocol?

Metal detectors and contactless security screening will be in place at all entrances.

Is a bag policy in place?

For security purposes, Canada Life Centre’s bag policy will apply to the Street Parties. Bag sizes are restricted to 12”x9”x5” or smaller and will undergo contactless security screening. Exceptions will be made for guests with medical and childcare/diaper bags and for working media. There is no on-site bag check for oversized bags. Can I leave the Street Parties and come back in?

No. The Street Parties are a no-re-entry event. Fans with tickets to the game cannot return to the Street Party once they have entered Canada Life Centre.

How will the party affect traffic downtown?

Donald Street will be closed for several hours prior to and following each Street Party with street and sidewalk closures, as well as Transit reroutes around Canada Life Centre. Times will vary based on game start time. It's a good idea to allow extra time to get around downtown. Can I access the Street Party site before and after the actual event?

Can I bring a lawn chair?

Lawn chairs are only permitted if fully collapsible. Poles and other attachments to chairs are not permitted.

Can I bring my backpack to the Street Parties?

Can I bring my own food or drinks into the Street Parties?

You are welcome to pack a single-serve snack (like a granola bar for the kids), and an empty soft-sided refillable water bottle to take advantage of the water filling station. Outside food and drinks will not be permitted.

Are there items not permitted at the Street Parties?

Yes — flag poles, hockey sticks, or anything else that could be viewed as dangerous or prohibited will not be permitted in the Street Party. Venue management reserves the right to decline entry for any item deemed a safety risk. Mobility devices will be permitted.

Signs with offensive or derogatory messages will not be allowed.

No outside alcohol or drugs of any kind will be tolerated at the Street Party.

Are pets allowed?

Only accredited service animals will be permitted on site.

Will we be able to watch the game live at the Street Parties?

Yes! The Street Parties will feature big screens to watch the game live.

Will there be a bike valet?

Yes, we are pleased to offer a bike valet located on south Donald for those wishing to cycle to the Street Parties.

Are there washrooms available on site?

Yes, there are portable washrooms and hand wash stations.

Will there be accessible seating options available?

Accessible seating will be available on site. An accessible entrance to the Street Party site will also be available at Portage Avenue and Donald Street.

Will food be available for purchase?

Yes! There will be a variety of food trucks and confectionary stands at the Street Parties so you can grab a bite before and during the game.

Will alcoholic beverages be available for purchase?

Yes. All alcohol vendors will be cashless.

Can I purchase 50/50 tickets?

Yes! Fans have the opportunity to get in on the in-game 50/50 draw at the Street Party. 50/50 sellers will be roaming around the area – be sure to catch one for your chance to win! Or buy your 50/50 ticket online beginning at 9:30 a.m. every gameday.

What forms of payment will be accepted at concessions and vendors?

Concessions and bars are 100% cashless. Contactless payment is preferred for food trucks, Jets Gear and Winnipeg Jets 50/50 sales; however, cash will be accepted.

Is there an ATM on site?

There is no ATM on site. Some vendors will be cashless, with all vendors preferring contactless payment.

Will I be allowed to smoke or vape?

No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted and, as is the policy inside Canada Life Centre, will be cause for ejection from the event.

Will Jets apparel be available for purchase?

Yes. A Jets Gear kiosk will be located in the Holy Trinity Church parking lot, selling Winnipeg Jets apparel, including official Winnipeg Jets Whiteout gear.

Where can I learn more about where the ticket fees are going?

Half of each Street Party ticket – $5 – will be directed to United Way Winnipeg, ensuring the community spirit of the Street Parties will extend to the greater Winnipeg community. Learn more about how we are Giving Back.

Will you be issuing charitable tax receipts for tickets?

No. Individuals who buy a ticket to the Street Parties will not get a tax receipt. If a tax receipt is provided to Street Party organizers, any tax benefit received will be further donated to United Way Winnipeg. Street Party organizers are not looking to profit from these events.

Dress for the weather (whatever it is that day). Of course, we encourage all fans to wear white to every game!
